There is no doubt under Mughals Indian economy grew rapidly approximately 21 percent per annum ( I never said India had the highest GDP share during their reign, growth rate of India was stagnant (except during Gupta dynasty which is considered the golden age in Indian history) )till 1000 A.D, in fact china benefited more than Britishers due to their policies in India during colonial period under Mughal rule till About 1820 later share of both countries declined due to rapid industrial revolution first in Britain and in their colonies in west (United States) and in rest of the Europe, japan )but fact is except Akbar no other ruler was secular enough (who respected all religions which was the reason he ruled India for the maximum tenure through his matrimonial alliances to unify Indian regions.). But his predecessors were fool enough to grant licenses to east India company who ultimately colonized India through divide and rule policy which resulted in pathetic condition for citizens because Britishers were only interested in exploiting our natural resources ( even humans by slavery)and taking away the wealth to their country which lead to draining of wealth out of India. Therefore I say it was the Mughals who were responsible for drain of wealth out of India. They were only busy in amassing wealth and welfare of Muslims and forced changing Hindus and other minorities to change their religion by all means and if they were wise enough to think for all the citizens and understood the strategy of east India company they might still be ruling India and might also have expanded their rule outside India as well. Annexation of any region by force and violence is no more recommended.(There are some conflicts in the world for disputed land for which they should arrive at peaceful agreements), If you want a politically stable and lasting government be it a democracy, autocracy monarchy(in ancient times) principles of social welfare, humanity and secularism remains the same.
A solution for long lasting reign in Any Political structure
